小泉首相訪朝直後、平成14年（2002年）9月末から始まった実務者協議では、松木薫さんの写真が提供されました。
有本恵子さんの写真とパスポートも、その時、北朝鮮側から日本政府に渡されていました。
有本さんの母、嘉代子さんは、平成16年の第3回日朝実務者協議に際して、「現在の恵子のことを知りたい。何十年も前のもの（写真など）を今更返してもらっても…。今のことを私たちは求めているのだから」と、恵子さんの救出を訴えました。また、「のらりくらりと北朝鮮がこれまでと同じ対応を続けるなら『そんなのでは日本国民は納得しない』と交渉の席を立ってもらっても構わない」と述べています。

交通事故記録も捏造
北朝鮮側より松木薫さん、田口八重子さんに関するものとして提供された交通事故記録は、いくつかの部分が消されています。判読可能な箇所についても、「死亡者」の氏名についての記述がありません。現場写真もありません。本当にお粗末な「証拠資料」です。こんなものを誰が信じるでしょうか。

The Fabricated Traffic Accident Record
The photos of Kaoru Matsuki and Keiko Arimoto handed over by North Korea
After Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi’ s visit to North Korea, Kaoru Matsuki’ s photo was provided in the working-level consultation that began at the end of September, Heisei 14/2002.
At the same time, Keiko Arimoto’s photo and passportwere handed over from the North Korean side to the Japanese government.
Concerning the third working-level consultation in Heisei16/2004, Arimoto’s mother, Kayoko, expressed “I want to know about current Keiko. The return of the photos decades ago are not necessary …. We are seeking for current information” , and appealed for the rescue of Keiko. Also, the mother has stated that “if North Korea keeps on its slow moving inefficient correspondence, I would not mind the Japanese Government to leave the negotiation table, expressing Japanese citizens are not convinced of such a correspondence.”
Fabricated Traffic Accident Record Kaoru Matsuki and Yaeko Taguchi’ s traffic accident records were provided by North Korea, but some information on the records has been erased. Even for the legible section, there is no description of the accident such as field photos and names of people who died in the accident. It truly was a lousy documentation.
